It's like I never left...
Have any of you ever experienced a time in your life where you weren't sure it ever even happened? I left Nashville in September of last year and joyfully returned just a mere two weeks ago...but it never really feels as though I left. The only way that I can truly tell that I was not in the harsh winter environment of Nashville was by the slight tan that I achieved while living in Florida! I can say, though, that I am so happy to be back in Tennessee!!! I regret not being able to post more and keep my buddies in Florida updated (sorry guys), but things here have been so hectic. I returned home two weeks ago (at 6am after a grueling 15 hour drive through rainy, rainy Georgia) and immediately knew that this is where I was supposed to be. Joel, Chase, and I attended the Nashville Naw-Ruz celebration at the Bahai Center the night that I returned and suprised everyone there with the return of the dynamic trio (Joel had been in Australia mackin' on the ladies...hahaha)! It felt so good to be back to my home Bahai community and to be able to be around the people that I have grown to love so much (Chase is pretty high on that list of people...hahaha). That next weekend, we even hosted a Ruhi Book 1 intensive weekend for the youth of the area who are planning to attend Project Badi this summer. I was so happy to be back to doing what I love which is working with the youth and junior youth...and I think they were pretty happy to see me too! :-) I have also been placed on the Area Teaching Committee for Nashville, which is something that I knew I was going to miss about being in Florida....but God always takes care of me and knows my desires! I housesat for Chase's aunt and uncle (Mike and Maggie...they are awesome people) and, like my friend Juliet, got hooked on LOST and wound up spending about 2 days curled up on the couch in their theatre room (I have come to believe that THAT is the only way to watch LOST) finishing the entire Season 1 DVD set and am now looking for ways to get my fix of Season 2. I'm addicted...and I blame Chase, Munib, and all the other people who excluded me from their discussions and made me walk alone while they discussed this amazing show...anyway, I'm not bitter. :-) So, I hope to be better at my postings...but for now it's crunch time for the wedding, so lots of shopping, hair appointments, yard work, yard sales (to sell all our unnecessary junk), meetings, blah, blah, blah...I'll keep you posted! Bye ya'll!!

YAY Jenn. You rock. I love that feeling of knowing you're home--sometimes I feel that way when I come to TN. Other times, I feel that way when I come to chicago. Very bizarro.
